MGNREGA is a centrally Sponsored Government scheme that provides a guarantee of 100 days work to rural Employment to the Persons who are above 18 years of age. About 50 percent of the adult population of Meghalaya has a Job Card to work under the Scheme. The total number of Meghalaya Job Cards issued is 6.89 Lakhs out of which 6.12 Job Cards are currently active in rural areas. Total of 12.18 lakh workers are Registered with MGNREGA out of which 8.7 Lakh Workers are currently working through the Job Cards. A Job Card is valid for 5 years at a time, workers will have to renew their job card after every panchayat election.

• It provides the Details of the work done by the worker.

How to get included in the Meghalaya Job Card list?

• If you want to apply for a job in the State of Meghalaya then you will have to submit your Aadhar card and Passport size photo to the Village panchayat office.
• You must be at least 18 years of age. 
• You should be a permanent resident of the same village of Gram Panchayat.
• You can also add any member of your family to the Aadhar along with yourself. 

How to check the Meghalaya Job Card list?

• Visit the Official website of the mgnrega Job Card list.
• Select Meghalaya from the Given List of the State.
• Now Select Your District and Block office.
• Select Your Village Panchayat.
• Then Click on the Get Report Button.
• Now the Meghalaya Job Card list will be visible on the screen.
• You can click on the Link to a Job Card to view the details of that card.
• Or You Can Print the Whole list.
